Hey,

I am a young, international, and passionate freelancer dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. With expertise in mediation, peace and conflict research, and political and developmental education, I bring a unique and dynamic perspective to every project.

My services include:

  • Mediation: Facilitating peaceful and constructive dialogue to resolve conflicts and foster understanding.
  • Peace and Conflict Research: Conducting in-depth analysis to uncover the roots of conflict and develop strategies for sustainable peace.
  • Political and Developmental Education: Educating individuals and groups on critical issues related to politics and development, empowering them to create change in their communities.

Each point of my work—research, education, and mediation—forms a strong, interconnected structure that addresses all levels of society. Research provides the foundational understanding of societal issues, education spreads awareness and empowers communities, and mediation brings individuals and groups together to resolve conflicts. This holistic approach ensures that from grassroots to global scales, we can foster sustainable peace and development.

I am driven by a deep commitment to promoting peace and understanding in a world that often seems divided. Having witnessed firsthand the devastating impacts of conflict and misunderstanding, I am motivated to use my skills and knowledge to make a difference. I believe that through effective mediation, comprehensive research, and empowering education, we can address the underlying causes of conflict and work towards a more just and harmonious world. Let’s work together to build bridges, resolve conflicts, and educate for a better future.

My background,

Since November 2022, I have been working freelance for various clients such as the Berghof Foundation and KIgA e.V., where I moderate workshops on conspiracy theories, antisemitism, and anti-Muslim racism. In parallel, I have been moderating mediation workshops at Alice Salomon University in Berlin since September 2021.

From October 2023 to March 2024, I taught as a lecturer at Alice Salomon University, where I led a seminar on qualitative and participatory research methods. In this role, I discussed scientific papers, taught the methods of constructivist Grounded Theory according to Charmaz, and supported international students in planning and conducting qualitative and participatory methods for their master’s theses.

Additionally, I worked for many years as an executive assistant at VIA e.V. in Berlin.

From December 2022 to September 2023, I was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and volunteered as a class representative of the master’s program at Alice Salomon University. In this role, I served as a confidant and mediator between professors, lecturers, directors, and students. I was also a member of the mediation working group of the master’s program and a mentor at Kiezküchen GmbH in Berlin.

In March 2023, I completed a research stay in New Delhi and Kannur, India, where I collected data and expanded my network. From August 2014 to July 2015, I did a world-wide volunteer service at the Centre for Sustainable Development in Nagpur, India. There, I worked on housing projects, women’s empowerment projects, medical education, and environmental protection.

I hold a Master of Arts in Intercultural Conflict Management from Alice Salomon University in Berlin. My master’s thesis focused on ongoing political violence in Kannur, India, despite peace talks. Additionally, I completed mediation training at AussichtsReich in Berlin. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Regional Studies Asia/Africa with a focus on South Asia from Humboldt University of Berlin.

To me,

solving a problem is like climbing a mountain.

In the beginning it is foggy and blurry, you cannot see clearly and have trouble to see even further ahead.

Halfway up, you are already questioning yourself “Why am I doing this? Why do I have to suffer and go through this? What is the point of doing this? I will just give up!”. At the same time you are aware that you must persevere if you are to overcome this challenge.

The further you persevere and walk,  the clearer the view becomes and woods become fewer, rocks appear. You may already be getting an idea of what the view of everything from above might look like.  That is how motivation gets rolling.

Finally reaching the top, the feeling is one of maximum excitement, relief and happiness. The view from above, across the valley and to other mountain ranges, stirs up different emotions.

For me, the process of problem solving touches on all phases of mountain climbing, the initial unclear sight, the questioning of oneself and the purpose of what one is doing, and in the end, the maximum satisfaction of looking from above at all the things that matter. Only then, after having said and heard everything that needed to be said and heard, can one find closure and be open to solutions.
